In traditional organizations, the focus has been on #projectmanagement.
We have an idea, we conceptualize or imagine the answer upfront, and then we delegate that work to people who know how to solve the problem and tell them what to do, when to do it, and within what time and cost constraints we need to do the work.
That’s fine if you’ve build the solution many times before, but it doesn’t work so well if it’s the first time you’re ever going to build the solution and you don’t know all the factors and variables that may impact your project.
In a complex world, #agile teams think more in terms of #productdevelopment than #projectmanagement, and have a stronger focus on developing strong teams, continuously improving the product, and working collaboratively to solve complex problems and build complex solutions.
