can you please translate how project manager responsibilities translate into agile or scrum?

#agile and #scrum are a radical departure from traditional #projectmanagement and work on values and principles rather than rules. They also incorporate lightweight #agileframeworks to help teams focus on great #productdevelopment instead of robust, ridid #projectmanagement models that mark out each step of the way.

Why? Because in complex environments you can’t know what you don’t know. You have never built the product before nor have you ever solved the problem so there isn’t a set formula you can follow. #projectmanagement works when you know how to solve the problem or build the solution, but it tends to fall over in complex and uncertain environments.

So, why is there no #projectmanager in a #scrum environment? In this short video, John McFadyen explains how the #projectmanager responsibilities are distributed amongst the #scrumteam to ensure that all the boxes are ticked whilst enabling innovation and exploration.
